Day 3

 Hi Tower makes sure that everyone has a full tank of petrol  the night before, so we take off around 7.00 – 7.15a.m. as we did this morning heading off to Madura.  This was always going to be a bit of a test for all the riders and pillons.  Well they didn’t disappoint us, very big big day.  What a glorious day for riding, we headed to Ceduna to fuel up for the next take.  On the way to Yilata we took a break to visit with Luke Skywalker who was raising funds for the Starlight Foundation.  We had our photos taken with him, donations made into the tin and then off again. Well Yilata never took place because there was no Petrol any where.  Well the fund began most of us headed to the Nullabor pushing on Reserve and watching for the support vehicle to back us up when we run out, luckily only one person ran out twice!!!!! We stopped at the first petrol stop on the Nullabor where we all fueled up our tanks and our bellies and took off again for Border Village.

From Border Village when then headed to Madura (Wolf's Creek in disguise!!!)  We are not kidding you

you should have seen this place, the manager from hell, the rooms from hell, and the mice from hell.  

Lucky they had a clean swimming pool where the guys could cool off (because I can tell you tempers were pretty hot!!!!!!)
